What is site analysis?

Site analysis records the existing characteristics of the site, and its surroundings and indentifies the opportunities and constraints for the site in relation to the project. The topic itself branches into the boundaries of architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, economics, and urban planning. Site analysis is a necessary preparatory step to architecture design.

Don't get the idea?

In the following weeks, we will work on site analysis together. Here is a good example of site analysis.
